11-12 – DAN GETTE, ASSISTANCE VICE CHANCELLOR OF STUDENT OPERATIONS WILL PRESENT THE CU BOULDER HOUSING MASTER PLAN Some of the questions Dan will address include: how many students CU Boulder houses now, how that will change, the timing of the projects, what the housing options will look like, will enrollment continue to increase, how might this impact the overall housing market. He will also review the master plan.

About Our Presenter: Lou Barnes moved to Boulder from Oklahoma in ’52 at age three; to New York City in ’60, and back to Boulder in ’73. Marketing manager of Holubar Mountaineering, president of Spruce Real Estate, managing director RCM Government Securities, and since 1988 a mortgage banker, now with Premier. Married, two kids. Xeric landscaper and football fan. Lou is a mortgage banker with Premier Mortgage Group, in the trade for 25 years. In the ‘80s he was a bond-market investment banker, also working with regulators in the meltdown. His checkered career in Boulder has included five years as president of Spruce Real Estate (’78-’83), and marketing manager of Holubar Mountaineering (’73-’78). He is the author of the nationally syndicated weekly “Mortgage Credit News” found at www.pmglending.com/loubarnes/ , together with a resume complete with confessions.
