This Luncheon Presentation will include:
Overview of Fair Housing laws and protections for the disabled; difference between service and support animals; difference between ADA and FHA laws; dealing with requests for accommodation including service and support animals; obvious versus non-obvious disability and/or need for animal; what a Landlord can and cannot say or ask; approval, requests for information, interactive dialogue and/or denials; dealing with fake online certificates; dealing with requests for multiple animals; deposits and animal addendum; record keeping requirements; Fair Housing claims arising from service animal requests and liability for landlords.

Deborah Wilson is one of the premier eviction attorneys in our state. She has 29 years of experience as a Housing and Litigation attorney, focusing on representing Landlords and Property managers on Fair Housing, Evictions, Collections, and related issues.
